Day 1 Plastic Challenge

I thought I was doing really well, I had planned ahead: nice delivery from Abel and Cole who use lots of paper and card and no plastic with their delivery. I knew that I would have to break the challenge immediately to take my daily tamoxifen but I need it. I am guessing they are in blister packs to keep the drug stable?

However we stopped at a pub mid walk had a drink and bag of crisps…I had eaten them before I even thought of the packet! Of course although it seems like metal it isn’t! Will need to be more vigilant in future!

Plastic Challenge!

I am not great with technology! But I have decided to write a blog to share just how challenging it will be to go through June giving up single use plastics. Having participated in a beach clean recently I was shocked at how much plastic there was on a seemingly clean beach so I decided I and my family should try to do our bit to stop ourselves drowning in a sea of plastic. Details of how you can participate http://www.mcsuk.org/plasticchallenge/

Love and best wishes to all fellow challengers!
