Retreats in Dunwich

Fully booked for Autumn 2020 please contact me if you want details of alternative dates!

If you have ever wondered about going on a yoga retreat, I would heartily recommend joining me (and Paul!) for these retreates on the Suffolk coast. For one thing, there’s the superb location: the sea, the marsh, the heath, the forest, as well as local attractions such as Snape Maltings and the charming towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold. And in terms of your practice, you’ll feel a real benefit for body and mind. These retreats are a wonderful opportunity to chill and relax away from everyday life.
There are two retreat weekends planned: 13th to 15th November and 20th to 22nd November.

The cost of the retreat includes seven hours of yoga, two nights of dinner, bed & breakfast, and plenty of food in the cottages to sustain you through the day.  Sharing a double room is £250 per person while single occupancy of a double room is £300 per person.

There are some more photos of our Dunwich retreat at the below. There are some testimonials relating to the retreats I’ve taught on and organised over the years on The Gayles Retreat page.

The location for November’s retreats is Dingle Marsh Barn, Dunwich, Suffolk, IP17 3DZ.  There is ample parking on site.  Dunwich is a beautiful place – Paul and I have been there too many times to count!

The yoga sessions will take place in a beautiful barn conversion.  We will do seven hours of yoga (including some meditation) spread across Friday evening, Saturday morning and Saturday evening, and Sunday morning.  In addition, I’ll be around to respond to any questions you might have about yoga and your practice.

The accommodation is in lovely converted barns, all with under floor heating and plenty of living space.  The rooms are not en-suite but you will not have to share with too many others.  I’ll provide plenty of healthy food with which people can make their breakfasts (healthy cereal, wholemeal bread, fruit, olive oil, butter, eggs, dairy and non-dairy milk, etc.), and on both nights there will be a vegan meal for all.  There is plenty of space in the fridges and cupboards if you wish to bring your own food and drink along.

There is a limited number of spaces available so do contact me to book your space!

Please do get in touch if you have any questions.

Hope to see some of you there!
